Rules and Notes

Team Rosters may consist of 3-5 players.

1. Each team may have at most 2 players ages 15 to 38 (Exceptions may be made to accommodate families in special situations, all teams will be made aware of exceptions)
2. All players at the game must bat. You must have 3 to play if you lose a player during the game you must take an out.
3. Maximum of 3 defensive players in the field. If all defensive players are 12 or younger a fourth defensive player is allowed.

Diesel Coaches and Parents will be the pitcher for both teams and Umpires for all games.

1. There are not walks, 3 strikes and you are out, 4 foul balls and you are out.
2. The pitcher will play defense at the same level for both teams
3. YOU MAY ASK THE UMPIRE A QUESTION – YOU MAY NOT ARGUE
4. IF YOU ARE THROWN OUT OF A GAME YOU ARE OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT
   1. THERE IS NO APPEAL
   2. CONTINUE TO ARGUE AFTER EJECTION YOUR WHOLE TEAM IS OUT OF THE TOURNAMENT
5. NO PROFANITY – There are no warnings, each word equals an out

Wiffle balls and bats will be provided

Game Play

We will use the Coul-Oak Minors rules as our base rule book with these exceptions

1. No Stealing
2. No Bunting
3. We will call Infield Flys
4. No Gloves allowed
5. No Walks
6. If you are hit by the ball while at bat you must keep batting
7. You may not throw the ball at the runner

Games will last 6 Innings with a 45 minute time limit

Ties will be broken with a Home Run Derby

1. Each team will elect three hitters, two ABs each
2. If no Home Runs are hit or there is a tie the next longest ball is the winner

Field Dimensions and Strike Zone

1) The pitching mound shall be 40’ from home plate.

2) Outfield fences are between 75-100 feet away.

3) Strike zone (lawn chair)
